Description
Actor and musician Azir Mustafić, was born April 14th, 1993 in Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) where he finished elementary school. After completing the Middle Musical School, he enrolled at the Academy of Drama Arts, but continued his studies at the Faculty of Performing Arts for Film, Theater and Dance at the University of Strasbourg in France. In 2017, he completed a study for "musical cabaret" at the Conservatory of Music, Dance and Theater in Strasbourg. He played a major part of his artistic engagement at the Tuzla Youth Theater where he delivered performances and worked as one of the drama educators. He was also an active associate of "Amica Educa" association as a lider of "Percussions therapy" seminar. In 2009 he received the Best Actor award from the jury at the International Festival of the Majske Igre in Becej, Serbia. While still studying at the University of Strasbourg he keeps working on his artistic performances as an actor and a musician in Bosnia&Herzegovina and France. He is a member of two international orchestras - "Papyros'N" and "Balsika", which have emerged as a result of a collaboation between Strasbourg and Tuzla, bouth which is included in the largest international network of young musicians "Jeunesses Musicales International" who organizes "Ethno Fest BiH" each year where he appears as one of the liders and organizers.
